Hello Scouts, this is your SPL.

This week we will be finishing up the communication and astronomy merit badges. The Panini Monkeys will be doing flags, and gaga ball is the game.

There is no meeting next week on the 24th.

Hello, this is Evalyn, the new SPL of Troop 345

This week we will be having patrol meetings to choose possible activities for the upcoming year, and we will be continuing ILST (module two). There is also a PLC afterward.

Leadership – All leadership positions expired on 10/31, so If you want to get a position during this upcoming term please speak to Mr. Wilcox, and positions will be filled first-come-first-serve.

The next few upcoming things are:

— On Thursday 11/10 there will be the Campus Middle School Veterans’ Day Celebration, and we need five scouts to do the flag ceremony (it goes from 9:00 to 10:30). If you want to participate please let Mr. Wilcox know, and the first five to reach out will be signed up.

— On Friday 11/11 the ILST overnight is happening, starting at 6:00 pm. Please eat in advance, because dinner will not be provided. We will do ILST module three, play some games, and we might have a star party and/or watch a movie as well. If you need another camping night, you can bring a small tent to the church to set up and sleep in it inside (the requirement is that you sleep in a tent, the tent doesn’t need to be outside).

— On Saturday 11/12 we’re having a parents’ meeting and then the Annual Plan – parents, please plan to attend, and siblings are welcome. We will be discussing changes to how we run campouts, and then planning our 2023 campouts and activities. Breakfast starts at 8:00, the parents’ meeting starts at 8:45, and the Annual Plan starts at 9:00.
