Hello scouts and parents,

This week we’ll be doing the leather and citizenship (nation or world) merit badges, and rank advancement. The Pyromaniacs will be doing flags, and the game will be wax museum.

Our next few upcoming things:

— On February 3-5, we have the Klondaree, the first campout of the year. It’s similar to the Camporee, but in winter. You can also sign up for this on the troop website.

— On February 4 Asher has his Eagle Project, more info will be coming soon.

— On February 12, there is the Scout Sunday at Hope Church. We need scouts to perform a flag ceremony and serve as ushers and greeters. This is a great way for scouts to show their support for the church that supports us and our reverence.

— The signup for NYLT is now open: (https://scoutingcolorado.org/camps/tahosa-high-adventure-base/national-youth-leadership-training/). This is a week-long leadership experience that is highly recommended for all scouts. To attend, scouts must be 13 years old, First Class, have completed ILST, and have a scoutmaster recommendation, so if you are interested, please speak with Mr. Wilcox.

Hello scouts and parents,

This week we will have our Court of Honor. It will be during the normal meeting time, and we ask all scouts to please wear Class A uniforms. Scouts’ families are welcome!
