Hello Scouts,

First off, congratulations to our new SPL, Andre.
And to our new ASPLs, Mitch, Nicholas, and Russell

Now to the updates:

1) Meetings moved to Hope Methodist Church starting next week, Sept 23. Meetings will return to 7:00 – 8:30pm. Masks will be required and all scouts are strongly encouraged to wear their Class A uniforms.

2) Philmont Meeting, Sept 19 at 6:00 pm at Hope. All scouts planning to attend Philmont should plan to be there.

3) Patrol Leader elections next week, Sept 23. Please, plan to attend to elect your new leaders.

4) Mason’s Eagle Project, Sept 26 from 9:00 am – 3:00 pm at Cherry Creek High School. More details to follow.

5) Fall Camporee, October 1 – 3 at Tahosa Scout Camp. A great way to meet scouts from other troops and show off your scouting skills. Sign up, it closes on Sept 23

Hello everyone this week will be holding the elections for the next Spl of Troop 345 following my term. Andre and Henry running for SPL so for all scouts coming, be ready to listen to their speeches and vote. In addition we will be continuing Sustainability (note Mr. Poole’s and Mrs. Miller’s recent emails for more information), we will also be working on Model Building and design, and the Coin Collecting Mb.

Masks for troop meetings are optional if you are fully vaccinated and required if you are not vaccinated.

We will be continuing to start at 6 as long as we’re meeting at the park. Meetings will start at 6:00 Pm and end at 7:30 Pm.  

Mason will be having his Eagle Scout Project from 9 am to 3pm Sunday September 26th. Attached is a flyer with more information and Mason’s Contact Information.

The Cub Scout packs need Den Chiefs so if you a need leadership positions please let me know. This is extremely helpful for the packs so please consider.

Hello Scouts,

MEETING TIME MOVING! Next week the meeting will start at 6:00 pm at Westlands Park, running to 7:30. The time is moving due to the shortening days. We hope to get back into Hope soon but are still waiting to learn when that will happen.

Other updates:

Thank you to everyone who helped with the peaches and scout carnival. We sold over 1,100 cases of peaches. And had a very successful carnival, generating a lot of excitement for our Cub Scout packs. Well, done everyone. And a special thanks to Mr. Corkill and Mr. Jackson for making those events happen.

14er Campout (Sept 10 – 12): Sign up by end of day on Friday, Sept 3. If you would like to help with planning, please contact Mr. Wilcox.

SPL Elections, Sept 16: If you would like to run for SPL, you need to let Colli, Mrs. Gibbons, or Mr. Wilcox know by the end of the meeting on Sept 9.

Patrol Leader Elections, Sept 23

Anyone who would like to be a Den Chief (working with a Cub Scout den as a leadership position), please contact Mr. Wilcox.

Oct 1 – 3 Campout has changed from Golden Gate State Park to the District Camporee at Tahosa. More details to follow.
