Hello scouts and parents,

This week we will have our annual Holiday Party! We’ll be playing white elephant (scouts should bring a wrapped present worth less than $20) and having a homemade holiday cookie contest. Adults will be judging the cookies and voting on a winner at the meeting.

Our next few upcoming things are:

— There is no meeting on Thursday 12/29, but there will be a meeting on 1/5 for those who can attend, where we’ll be doing merit badge make up and rank advancement.

— On January 2 there is a Christmas Tree Recycling Fundraiser. We will be picking up and recycling Christmas trees for a requested $15 donation, and the money raised will go into scouts’ scout accounts. We will need a parent/parents with a truck/trucks to help.

— January 26 is our next Court of Honor.

— On January 27-29, we have the annual Scout Ski Trip at Copper Mountain, you can sign up for this on the troop website.

— On February 3-5, we have the Klondaree, the first campout of the year. It’s similar to the Camporee, but in winter. You can also sign up for this on the troop website.

Hello scouts and parents,

This week we will continue the collecting and citizenship in the community merit badges. The Valkyries will do flags, and the game is Zombie. There is a PLC after the meeting.
