Hello Scouts,

Just a few quick updates this week:

1) Sunday, Dec 12: Adult Leaders Meeting at 7:00 pm at Hope

2) Thursday, Dec 16: Holiday Party, Gift Exchange, and Cookie Contest – Bring a wrapped gift valued between $15 and 20 for the exchange and your best holiday cookies for the contest.

3) PLC will take place before the meeting on Dec 16 from 6:30 – 7:00.

4) Jan 21 – 23 – Troop Ski Trip at Copper Mt. (more information in attached flyer). Deadline to sign up is Dec 17. The troop usually rents a very large condo and provides all meals with a cost per person of approximately $150 for two nights (may be higher this year as rents have gone up significantly).

5) No Meeting Dec 23 or Dec 30. Enjoy your winter break.

Hello, scouts this week we will have the scouting skills competition part 2, so please prepare all your scouting skills to help your team. WILDFIRES: You are doing flags so please make sure to arrive 5-10 minutes early to prepare for the flags. I will be attaching a forms link so you can tell me what merit badges you want to get done in the time of January.

1. Thursday, Dec 16 Gift and Cookie Exchange and Holiday Party Scouts should bring a wrapped gift from $15-$20. Outdoor or scout theme is recommended however not required. please bring preferably homemade cookies at 7:00. Dinner not provided. Dessert provided. Contact your SPL or Mr. Wilcox for questions.

2. Jan 21-23 Copper Mountain Ski Trip If interested, please sign-up ASAP so that we can determine our numbers and make appropriate reservations. The troop usually rents a very large condominium and provides all meals with a cost per person of $150 for two nights (may be higher this year as rents have gone up significantly). Please Contact Mr. Jackson if interested or have questions.

3. January 27th Court of Honor The first Court of Honor of the 2022 year is the 27th of January, please make sure that you are getting rank advancement and merit badges completed as soon as possible. Patrol Leaders: It is your responsibility to check in with every individual in your patrol to see where they are at. Please contact your SPL or Mr. Wilcox.

Next PLC: Dec 16th at 6:30 pm, we have this right before the gift and cookie exchange because we are right against winter break.

1) Saturday, Dec 4: Philmont preparation hike. Meet at Hope at 7:30 am and hike the Parker Incline. Weighted packs are not necessary. Open to all. Highly encouraged for scouts going to Philomont.
