Hello everyone! This week, we will be meeting at Westlands Park STARTING at 7 pm and ending at 8:30 pm.

The Wildfire Patrol will be doing Flags, and we will be playing Capture the Flag.

Patrol activities:
Dragons: Rowing/Canoeing
Turtles/Treagles: Joining other Patrol
Valkyries: Signs, Signals, and Coding
Gladiators: Rowing/Canoeing
Wildfire: Citizenship + Leadership Rank Advancement

Starting with this upcoming meeting, we will be moving the start time of meetings to 7 pm and end at 8:30 pm.

We will also begin keeping a registry for those who have had their COVID vaccine. This is completely optional, but if you would like to show you are vaccinated so that the Troop has that for future planning, it would be extremely helpful. Mrs. Gibbons will be managing it and if you want to be added to the list of people, please speak with her.

Face Masks for all meetings will still be REQUIRED.

Upcoming Events:

June 5: Hike at Parmalee Loop Trail in Mt Falcon Park near Indian Hills for scouts attending Sea Base. All scouts are welcome to come whether they are attending Sea Base or not. If you would like to join, please complete an Orange Card on the Troop website. Meet at Hope Church at 7:45am. Questions ask Mrs. Miller.

July 27-July 3: The Troop will attend Camp Dobbins.

July 6-12: A group of older scouts will be attending Sea Base.

July 16-18: Peach Campout

August 5-7: Rafting Trip

September 12: 14er campout

October 1-3: Golden Gate Campout

July 7, 2022 (next year!): We are going to Philmont as a Troop on July 7 2022 for a 12 day trek. Scouts must be 14 at time of departure (or 13 and have completed 8th grade) and First Class. It will require a $100 non-refundable deposit for each slot. If you are interested, talk to Mr. Wilcox ASAP.
