Hello everyone, at the meeting there will be E Prep and basketry.

Oct 28 at 6:15 (prior to beginning of the weekly meeting): Leadership Training for the SPL, ASPLs, Patrol Leaders, and Assistant Patrol Leaders. Please attend to learn about your responsibilities in your leadership positions.

Sunday, October 31st – Philmont Training Hike. Meet me at the Hope parking lot at 10:00 am. We will proceed to the Castle Rock Incline to a training hike with a distance of about 2.4 miles. All scouts, parents, and siblings are invited. Brink a day pack, water, and lunch. After the hike, we will discuss the best day in November for a trial backpack hike.

We will be doing a food drive on November 6th. We will hand out bags and flyers at the meeting on Oct 28. Scouts will distribute those around their neighborhoods then pick the bags up the morning of Nov 6 and bring them directly to Coventry Cupboard to sort and load into their pantry.

Also if anyone is interested there is another volunteering opportunity at a soup kitchen through PROJECT Our Town the same day as the annual plan. If you are interested please let me know by Tuesday to see if we have enough scouts.

November 4th: and 11th first ILST classes
November 12-13: ILST and Annual plan overnight at Hope Methodist Church. (Parents please come to the annual plan on the 13th: we will have a parents breakfast which is a great opportunity to meet other parents in the troop).
November 13: Five mile hike for Second Class following the annual plan at Cherry Creek Reservoir
December 16th: Holiday White Elephant gift exchange instead of regular meeting
January 21-23: Ski Trip
