Hello scouts and parents,

This week is the third week of Patrol Month! During Patrol Month, there will be patrol competitions with points for attendance, wearing your uniform, doing service, and completing scouting skills challenges. This week’s challenge is knots and lashings. It also has the patrol assignments if you don’t remember which patrol you are in. Also, there is a PLC after the meeting.

Our next few upcoming things:

— On April 29 at 9:00 am there is a Lions Club Convention Flag Ceremony, we need scouts to perform the morning flag ceremony. Please let Mr. Wilcox know if you are interested in helping.

— On May 5 – 6 there is the Hunger Games Campout. You can sign up on the troop website.

— On May 13 there’s the Cub Scout Campout. We need scouts to help run activities for the Cub Scouts. You will receive service hours. Please talk to Mr. Corkill or Wilcox if you’re interested.

— On May 30 – June 2 the Wings Over the Rockies Air and Space Museum along with the BSA will be conducting a STEM / Nova day camp, you can earn the Aviation and Space Exploration Merit badges there.
